It uses a graphical frontend to Slapt-get which works similarly to Apt-get. It uses its own repositories which provide its own as well as packages from Slackware.
SlackEx
This linux distribution is released by Exton Linux Project; based on Slackware 15.. The Developer defines it as "SlackEX 15.0 Current 64 bit Linux Live". The most recent version at the time of publishing this blog post is Slackware 15, build 260328/260325. The installation iso is 3.9 GB.
