Blogger has a rich history as one of the earliest blogging platforms and continues to be a popular choice for bloggers today. Its key features, such as easy customization and integration with other Google services, make it a convenient and efficient tool for content creation. However, as with any platform, there are potential limitations and a risk of discontinuation.
Update January 2022: The Blogger site has been discontinued
Way Forward with Blog site on Blogger
I have recently migrated my site back to WordPress (https://amarvyas.in) and have also set up a ClassicPress fan site. I am in the process of consolidating my add-on sites which are built on Brick.do CMS, so I’m facing a problem of plenty. Therefore, consolidation and discontinuation of redundant or “more effort than it’s worth” sites is the way forward.
At some point in time, I might switch out from Blogger back to self-hosted Content Management System like Bludit, or even on ClassicPress. But for now, this experiment seems like an exciting prospect. Note: As on August 2021, this short-lived experiment came to an end as I began consolidating my blogging hosts.
